Blazing the Trail: Coming Together to Help Hay River Animals Affected by NWT Wildfires
VWB/VSF teamed up with NS SPCA and Wings of Rescue to secure care for 16 dogs evacuated from the Hay River, NWT wildfires.
Having a BSc in biology, Thea started her career working in the Ontario government, protecting areas of scientific interest. Since 1996 Thea has worked for Ericsson Canada fulfilling a variety of roles but is now Site Operations Manager where she leads, guides and develops local teams responsible for innovation, talent development, diversity and inclusion, community engagement, local advisory board, and customer engagement.
Thea has always maintained a passion for animal health and welfare and has been following VWB since she became aware of it when she moved to Ottawa about four years ago.
