Sonia Fèvre, MSC
Sonia Fèvre is a Franco-British international development and campaigns specialist who has worked for international NGOs in the field of community health and development, volunteer mobilisation and environmental campaigning. She led Vets without Borders-Canada’s work in Southeast Asia as Regional Director from 2009-15, establishing sustainable community farming and animal health worker programmes in Laos and Cambodia, as well as developing regional capacity building in Ecohealth practice and research.
More recently she has led capacity building for systemic change in Europe with groups such as Smart CSOs and Ben & Jerry’s. Sonia studied Social Anthropology at King’s College, Cambridge and has a Masters in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London. She is fluent in English and French and speaks some Indonesian and basic Lao. She joined the Vets without Borders Board in January 2017.
