Veterinary Student Scholarship - OVC

Veterinarians without Borders / Vétérinaires sans Frontières (VWB/VSF) focuses on animal health to improve the health of communities. We believe in a One Health approach: healthy animals, healthy humans, healthy planet. 

To build accessible animal health, supporting Ontario residents in pursuing veterinary college and removing barriers is a step towards a better future.

Currently, in Canada, Veterinarians without Borders develops partnerships with remote communities to grow access to animal health care. We work with communities upon invitation to identify needs and build a plan with community representatives to strengthen local capacity to address animal care needs year-round. This includes offering temporary veterinary clinics with a team of volunteer veterinary professionals. Part of this multi-pronged approach includes removing barriers to education in animal health careers.

This scholarship of $6,245 is available to Ontario residents pursuing education at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC).
