Veterinarians in northern canada
Across North America, Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord (VWB/VSF) is dedicated to developing partnerships with remote communities in the Canadian territories, working in collaboration with community representatives to identify needs and create comprehensive plans to enhance local capacity for year-round animal care. The organization focuses on establishing sustainable frameworks that empower communities to take charge of their animal health.

In addition to this, VWB/VSF extends its impact by collaborating with BAARK! in The Bahamas. This partnership aims to address the issue of homeless animal populations by providing spay/neuter surgeries and offering educational training and information. VWB/VSF's support for BAARK! encompasses various resources such as pet food, surgical tools, personal protective equipment, fuel for transports, veterinary technicians' costs, and surgeries conducted at local veterinary clinics. By combining efforts with BAARK!, VWB/VSF strives to ensure that animals not only receive essential medical care but also thrive in healthy and happy environments.
