Dr. Anna MacKay is a 1985 graduate of the University of Montreal (DVM) in veterinary medicine and holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Pathology (M.Sc.) from the University of Montreal (1995).
She worked as a private practitioner with small animals at the beginning of her career and then joined the federal government in 1992 as a meat hygienist for the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency).
