Climate change in the face of war: Ukraine’s complex crisis
Ukraine’s crisis isn't about the conflict alone; it has also created devastating ecological impacts that continue to threaten people and animals within and beyond its borders.
Having a BSc in biology, Thea started her career working in the Ontario government, protecting areas of scientific interest. Since 1996 Thea has worked for Ericsson Canada fulfilling a variety of roles but is now Site Operations Manager where she leads, guides and develops local teams responsible for innovation, talent development, diversity and inclusion, community engagement, local advisory board, and customer engagement.
Thea has always maintained a passion for animal health and welfare and has been following Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord since she became aware of it when she moved to Ottawa about four years ago.
