Zuhra Aman is the MEAL Advisor at Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Advisor

Zuhra is an international development professional with a track record in development and humanitarian sectors. She has significant experience in women empowerment, gender equality, child protection, poverty alleviation, and disaster risk reduction and management. Zuhra has over 10 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning, grants/program management, and Results Based Management. She has significant experience working with international institutional donors and funding agencies.

Zuhra holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Public Policy and Administration, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in Development Leadership from Saint Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. She has a diploma in Program Management and Leadership from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

Zuhra has worked as co-chairperson for the South Asian Initiative to End Violence Against Children part of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), and has also served as a board member for different development organizations. She has represented many forums internationally.
