Blazing the Trail: Coming Together to Help Hay River Animals Affected by NWT Wildfires
VWB/VSF teamed up with NS SPCA and Wings of Rescue to secure care for 16 dogs evacuated from the Hay River, NWT wildfires.
Megan joined Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Canada (VWB/VSF) in February 2023. Prior to joining the VWB/VSF team, Megan spent the last six years working in international education, managing student exchange programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions. Her time working in international education allowed her to work closely and build relationships with students and partners all over the world. Megan holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and French from Simon Fraser University. She has a passion for education, travelling, and learning about different cultures.
Megan lives on Vancouver Island and likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible. When she isn’t working, you are likely to find her surfing, camping, or hiking.
